New goal for 2003:

Teach my parents that leaving their cell phones off when they go out defeats the purpose of having them.

Oh my god–you sound like my mom–every single time she leaves me a message on my cell phone she says "what's the point of having a cell phone if it's never on"…I guess she doesn't understand that sometimes I might be at the movies or at dinner and think it's incredibely rude to have my cell phone on!!!

Dude, I wouldn't care if they had 'em off once in awhile. I think my mom is paranoid that her battery will run out five seconds after she turns it on. hahaha
Well, in her defense, she didn't get a new phone until October/November…she was still carrying around her old analog phone from like the '95 tip!!! I think she's still not used to how long the digital batteries last compared to the analog phones' batteries.
