I finally spoke to my therapist, who will be referred to on this blog as Chuckie. (I don’t really think that his patients would want to Google and find my blog under searches for him.) We have our initial appointment for next Tuesday afternoon.

As I explained to Steve and Jeff yesterday, I initially thought he sounded like Wilford Brimley, hence the video. So I was afraid our first session was going to be oatmeal filled. But then he left me another message that started off with “Hey…it’s Dr. Mxxxxxr,” which led me to believe we might be eating Ho-Ho’s during our session. After talking to him, I realize that he sounded more like a Jewish transplant from Brooklyn, so perhaps knishes and bagels will be on the menu.

I doubt we’re actually going to feast while un-crazifying me, but I think we should aim for a therapeutic smörgåsbord.
