I applied at the following places:

1. Starbucks
2. Rittenhouse Market
3. Consignment store on 11th (?) off South
4. Athletic shoe store that made me want to slit my wrists
5. Athletic shoe store that made me want to blow my brains out
6. Guacamole
7. Pearl Arts
8. City Market

I attempted to apply at Whole Paycheck, but they only accept apps online.  I have the best feeling about Guacamole, but I’m not optimistic about any of the places.  The girl who took my resume was really nice and didn’t seem to give a shit about me needing to cut down my availability.

Buuuttttt…  I don’t have any recent retail experience.  So I’m not sure if I will get anything at the more desirable places.  (Quick top picks: Rittenhouse Market, because it looks easy; Guacamole, because the staff was the friendliest/most approachable & none of them looked like they’d be working there…also, Matt almost rented an apartment from the owner and the guy handling everything was awesome; City Market, because the place is sooooo bourgie and any discount there would be well worth it.  Obviously, the two athletic shoe stores are the places I’d least want to work.)

AND OMG I HAD TWO D LIST CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS TODAY!!

1. My girl Tiffany from Parking Wars.  OMG SHE WAS RIGHT OUTSIDE BUFFALO CLOTHING XCHANGE.
2. My girl ANNE DICKER!  She was pushing her bike at 3rd & Bainbridge.  I totally didn’t even realize it was her at first and then when it dawned on me, it was too late to do an “OH EM GEE YOU’RE ANNE DICKER I TOTALLY VOTED FOR YOU!!”

Okay, what am I saying?  They are totally B listers, as far as I’m concerned.  It was an exciting day, in which I also learned that walking down Passyunck to my apartment only took about 25 minutes.  And I wasn’t walking very fast, either, because I was too busy blabbing to Deanna on the phone.

See what happens once you hit 21, kids?  Seeing a state senate candidate you voted for and a reality tv star makes your day.
