….seeing two roaches in my basement 5 weeks before my lease ends.

The one was dead and I caught the other out of the corner of my eye.  I think it’s because my fucking idiot landlords never sealed up a two inch gap near the basement door (which is how I’m also convinced the mouse got in over the winter).  I only saw them in here on two separate occasions last summer; both times were before the central air was running and I had the back inner door open (the flap on the storm door is – SURPRISE – screwed up).

I like my apartment, really I do, but I started to realize how shoddy some of the work is awhile ago.  The more I think about it, the more aggravated I get.  Maybe I should just try to sleep and push it outta my head?
