There would be no law from the government saying one way or the other, it is TRUE freedom. With Teddy, I think it's hilarious to see the completely partisan mourning. Radley Balko is one of the few people I've seen who gave a nuanced obit of Kennedy without the "I'm a ______, so Kennedy was _______!" crap I've been seeing. Dems seem too content to sweep bad legislation and Teddy's participation in the Chappaquiddick incident under the table....because No Child Left Behind should only be Bush's burden and accountability for misusing political power is only important for the Right. OTOH, Republicans won't STFU about Mary Jo Kopechne and are blabbering things about how he got what he deserved....because they now give a crap about women dying and a peaceful death at home, surrounded by the people you love should be punishment for murder.
