Me: I have to baste the pork butt. I’m just going to use a silicone brush. Anarchist Boyfriend: Don’t we have a turkey baster? Me [angrily glaring]: No, dear, I don’t. I left the room before he could make any sort of lesbianically charged jokes at my expense.
I plan on spending my evening watching horror movies, cooking a 6 lb hunk of pork butt, and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Be safe, have fun, and watch out for razor blades in yr apples!
Irony: it’s not just an overused term by the hipsterly-inclined. Each time I try to make snarky commentary about this screencap, I fall short. As I blogged yesterday, there was a horrifying assault in Kentucky against Lauren Valle – an activist with MoveOn – and several male Rand Paul supporters. At the time of my post, the assailants were stilled unnamed. There [...]

It astounds me to see how many people rant and rave about Facebook privacy settings while neglecting to realize how easily they can be tracked down online using information they freely give out around the web. I was reminded of this after reading a post the [...]
He doesn’t need to, he’s got a few over-zealous supporters who are more than happy to do so! If you haven’t heard yet, Lauren Valle, an activist with MoveOn, showed up to the Paul-Conway debate on Monday night to present Paul with an award from “Republicorp.” Republicorp is a fictitious entity made up by MoveOn [...]
