Dr. Sharon Presley: Author, psychologist, academic, speaker, consultant, former professor, founder of the Association of Libertarian Feminists, and co-founder of Laissez-Faire Books. (Don’t quote me, though, I probably left off multiple achievements. Frankly, I don’t know how the hell she has the time and energy to do all of it.)
On a personal note, I — like many of the libertarian/libertarian friendly peeps on Facebook — have had the pleasure of interacting with Dr. Presley online. Even though we do not always agree on every issue, I often put her in the camp of “libertarians who get it.” I have such a huge amount of respect and admiration for her because she knows her shit and won’t be bullied into backing down when she’s right. She’s one of the few bigger name libertarians/libertarian friendly folks who makes the same connections I do regarding resistance to the state and resistance to patriarchy. For that, she absolutely had to make this list.
